Woodlawn Station

A 95,000-square-foot, 3-building new affordable housing development in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood.

The main building contains 55 units with 15,000 SF of retail space, and additional buildings include a three-flat and 12-unit building. The main building lot sits in very close proximity to elevated train track and involved heavy utility logistics planning.

The new living community provides a welcoming and comfortable environment with sustainable and modern features, and many apartments are handicapped accessible. This project received IHDA funding and included 26% MBE and 6% WBE participation.
